Four phases, in the order a separation actually asks for them. You can read this from either chair. Nothing here works differently for the person who signed up first.

One question at a time.
The deck moves through 19 areas of a separation, one question to a screen. Each question carries why it matters, in two sentences, and what a court does if the two of you never agree, with the statute cited and its effective date.
You answer alone, in your own words, at 11pm if that is when you think. Your answers stay yours until both of you have weighed in. Choice answers stay hidden until you have both answered, so nobody answers to match. Notes are private unless you attach them to something you propose.
Not ready for a question? Park it with a wake date and it comes back later. Skipping is a normal move, not a failure state.

02 · Gather
Every document a settlement needs.
One checklist, built from what a court and a mediator actually ask for: returns, pay records, statements for every account, the mortgage, insurance, the retirement plans. Each item says who it belongs to and whether it has been exchanged.
Uploads go into a private vault. Link accounts through Plaid if you want balances to fill themselves in. An unshared account is invisible to the other person, including that it exists. Sharing is read-only, per institution, and reversible.
The disclosure organizer is a guided fill of the statement of net worth. It stays private until the two of you exchange, and it borrows what the app already knows so you type each number once.
03 · Compare
Matched, differing, unanswered.
When you have both answered, the compare view sorts everything into three piles. Most couples find the matched pile larger than they expected. The differing pile is the agenda, and it is usually short.
Before you meet walks that pile one item at a time: what the decision actually turns on, both answers side by side, and the middle ground where somebody wrote one down. Change your answer where you would rather have theirs and the question settles itself. Hold the rest, and they become the agenda for the day you sit down.
Sitting together, one of you proposes and the other confirms or declines with a note. Nothing settles on one signature.
Editing a settled answer reopens it, visibly, for both of you. Nobody can quietly revise what was agreed.

04 · Hand off
Your professional starts at the end.
The export is three things: a term sheet titled “Summary of decisions for professional review”, an open-items agenda for the first session, and a disclosure summary with an index of every document you have gathered.
All of it prints. Question decks come out with room for a pen, worksheets as forms. Transcribed paper answers are marked provisional until their owner confirms them.
At the end of this, you hire a professional. Evenly makes that meeting shorter, not optional.
